Sensor and AI claims need a boundary
Health metrics on any consumer wearable are wellness guidance, never diagnosis, and the spec sheet should say so. If it implies clinical accuracy, that is a red flag, not a selling point. The same discipline applies to language features: translation output is a reference translation, not a certified, legal or medical one. A companion robot is not a monitoring or emergency-response device, and a children's device is governed by the age grading printed on the packaging, which in turn decides whether a toy scope such as EN 71 or EN 62115 applies. When to say no
Say no when a supplier refuses to name the panel technology, when battery figures cannot be tied to a test condition, when certificates are offered as a folder without revision numbers, or when a wearable is described in clinical language. Say no when the quotation hides MOQ behind "contact us" and the sample lead time is open-ended.
