Why the case
The case matters more than the sensor list
A ring on a shelf dies over the weekend. The R2 ships with its own charging case, so a retailer can demo a unit, put it back in the case and have it sellable again the next morning — and a distributor can run a two-week trial without issuing loose chargers nobody keeps. That is the whole reason this model exists alongside the R1.
We do not quote battery life from a spec sheet alone. The datasheet that comes with your quotation gives typical and power-saver run-time, charge time to full, and how many full charges the case adds, measured on production units — because a number you cannot repeat is a number your customers will return.
Four things to check before comparing prices
- How many full charges the case really holds at the ring's charge rate, not its peak.
- What port the case charges over and whether the cable is inside the retail box.
- What happens to unsold stock in year three: spare cases and cables are a line item, not a promise.
- Whether a unit can be revived from a power bank on the counter when the case is elsewhere.
Ask us for these four figures in writing for any supplier you compare us with. A factory that has measured them answers in a day.
Mixed batches
Ordering colours and sizes in one batch
Metal rings sell on look first and specification second, so the R2 is set up for a mixed batch: three finishes across the stocked size range inside a single 1,000-unit order, split the way you propose rather than by fixed cartons.
The size curve is a commercial decision, not a logistics detail. We ship a sizing kit first, you return the distribution your channel actually moves, and production follows that split. Unopened wrong sizes can be exchanged for other sizes of the same run — the same process we run on the R1. If your scope touches a customisation tier with a higher minimum, that higher figure governs the order.
What we need from you to quote it
- Quantity and the colour split you want to start with.
- Target market, so the size curve suggestion is based on real finger data rather than a guess.
- Branding scope: engraving, finish, packaging, app.
- Delivery window and Incoterms — DDP, FOB or EXW.

Claims boundary
A wellness snapshot, not a medical device
The R2 gives a wearer a short reading of heart rate, blood oxygen and stress, plus daily steps and sleep trends in the app — a snapshot you can repeat, not a diagnosis. We write it that way on the listing, the packaging and the app store text, and we will not let a reseller write it differently, because that is the line that keeps a consumer ring out of a device-regulation conversation it cannot win.
Where a buyer needs clinical positioning, we decline the order and say why: this model is not supplied with medical-device documentation, and screening, diagnostic or therapeutic wording in your artwork will be rejected before production. Skin-contact material testing is handled the same way across the wearable line — we send what exists for the revision being quoted.

Customisation, and how it is priced
Every tier below is available on this model. The unit minimum and lead-time impact for each one is confirmed in your quotation against the current hardware and packaging revision — we do not print a tier table that goes stale when a supplier changes a part.
- Engraving or printed logo on the ring or the case lid.
- Finish beyond the three standard colours.
- Retail packaging: gift box, blister or sleeve, insert and manual languages.
- App white-label: name, logo, start screen, language set.
- Firmware scope: which metrics are shown, units, defaults, onboarding copy.

Questions buyers ask about this model
Can we order the R2 as a private-label product?
Yes. Logo and packaging tiers sit at the standard minimums, and the companion app ships white-label from 2,000 units. The 1,000-unit ring minimum is one order rather than one SKU, so a private-label run can carry several colours and sizes.
How do samples and production lead times work?
Stock configurations sample in 3 to 5 working days and configured builds in 7 to 15, with the sample cost credited against mass production. Production runs 25 to 35 days after sample approval, shipped EXW, FOB Shenzhen or DDP by air or sea.
Is there a subscription or a cloud account fee?
No. The companion app and syncing are free on the standard build, with no per-unit cloud fee, and that stays true on white-label deployments.
Can I order one batch with several colours and sizes?
Yes. The 1,000-unit minimum is a single order, not a single SKU: you propose the colour and size split, we confirm it against carton build and production, and mixed SKUs stay inside the same MOQ. If your scope touches a customisation tier with a higher minimum, that higher figure governs the order.
Can the R2 be worn in the shower or swimming?
We do not publish a water rating for this model yet, and we do not claim hand-washing safety either. Before order confirmation we send the test report for the exact hardware revision, and the listing, packaging and app copy follow whatever that report supports — nothing beyond it.
How long does the battery last between charges?
Run-time depends on sampling frequency, so we do not print a headline figure. The datasheet with your quotation gives typical and power-saver run-time, charge time to full, and how many full charges the case adds, measured on production units.
Is the R2 a medical device?
No. Heart rate, blood oxygen, stress and step tracking are wellness features for generally healthy adults. The ring does not diagnose or screen for sleep apnoea, atrial fibrillation or any other condition, and we will not supply artwork that suggests it does.
Which certificates are supplied?
Certification scope differs by hardware revision. We send the certificate list for the exact revision being quoted before you commit, and we say plainly which documents do not exist yet rather than implying a scope we cannot evidence.
Which ring should I choose — the R1 or the R2?
Choose the R1 when the sale depends on sleep staging, recovery and skin-temperature trends in a titanium-aluminium shell with a wide size curve and an evidenced water rating.
